Draft of 13 October 2026
Terms of use
These terms describe how Rivyra works today and what is expected of the people who use it.
Draft. This text is awaiting review by Rivyra's owner and is not yet in force.
Your account
- You need an email address, a name, a handle and a password of at least ten characters. You confirm the email address before you can sign in.
- Your handle is your address on Rivyra. Some handles are reserved and cannot be chosen.
- Keep your password to yourself. The devices page in settings lists every place you are signed in and lets you sign any of them out.
What you post
- What you post stays yours. By posting it you let Rivyra store it, process it (for example to make smaller copies of a picture or a video) and show it to the people your settings allow.
- You can edit or delete your posts, comments and Moments. A link to a picture or video that was already handed to a browser keeps working for up to five minutes after you delete it or make it private.
- Post only what you have the right to post.
How to behave
The community guidelines are part of these terms. They say what is not allowed and what you can do about something you see.
The service
- Rivyra is being built a stage at a time. What the roadmap does not mark as shipped is not available yet, and features can change as they are finished.
- Rivyra limits how often some actions can be repeated, such as signing in and signing up, to protect accounts.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them.
Not yet decided
- Who operates Rivyra and how to contact them.
- The minimum age for an account.
- How accounts are closed, by you or by Rivyra, and what happens to their content.
- Which law applies and how disputes are handled.
