One-to-one conversations with people you follow.

One-to-one messages
Text and up to four pictures, private to the two of you, with read receipts and a typing indicator. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted: they are stored on Rivyra's servers, and the app says so where you write them.

Messages that do not get lost or doubled
A message is stored before anyone is told about it, a retry never sends it twice, and a dropped connection catches up when it returns.

Message requests
A first message from someone you do not follow waits in Requests until you accept or decline it, and they are not told you read it. You choose who may message you at all.

Report or delete a message
Delete a message you sent, for both of you. Report one you received: staff then read that message and up to three either side of it, and nothing else of the conversation.
